Official Statement from TANZA (Tanzanian Community in New Zealand) Date: 08 November 2025 Message of Condolence and Solidarity Following the Recent Tragic Events in Tanzania TANZA – the Tanzanian Community in New Zealand – extends its deepest condolences to all families and individuals affected by the recent tragic loss of lives and unrest in Tanzania following the 2025 general elections. We are deeply saddened by the violence and suffering that have affected many innocent lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all Tanzanians who are experiencing grief and uncertainty during this difficult time. As a united community in Aotearoa New Zealand, we stand in solidarity with our fellow citizens in Tanzania and with all those advocating for peace, justice, and reconciliation.
